I understand that the reason that works is because of the age of the game, but to be fair, most of the CoD games for Mac are of a similar vintage.
But, given that, which is the best one to get, considering the comparatively small selection of titles from which to choose? And, more importantly, why?įrom a technical standpoint, one thing I would like to know is which CoD game will run consistently at a minimum of 60 fps on my late 2012 iMac with 512MB Geforce 650M GPU? One of the things I like about Counter Strike is that it runs 100+ fps, maxed out, so that fluidity spoils you. Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available for PlayStation players first on.

My first computer games were shooters (Doom, Quake, Unreal, etc). And before anyone jumps to the conclusions that I'm biased against shooter games, let me assuage your concerns by saying that I love shooter games. So, here's the deal: I've never played a Call of Duty game before.
